For over three months we have thoroughly endured and enjoyed the rigors of a personal trainer. Lauren is the best anyone could have. I have in the past been an aerobics instructor ... I speak from experience of the industry.
Lauren's knowledge, programming for the two of us and enthusiasm has kept us going twice a week. I have Menieres Disease - Lauren read up on this and has designed our program to enhance my balance levels. Graham loves his boxing and Jenni her Pilates! The hula hoop and skipping rope look cute on Graham but he is mastering these too! We have fun and the blood pressure levels are dropping ... more than the weight ... I guess Lauren doesn't control what we eat!
This is a great activity for a husband and wife team. Thanks Lauren ... we will try to do more homework and less eating!
Jenni & Graham Croot, SawtellIn one way or another, I have exercised for as long as I can remember, from yoga to aerobic exercise and step classes. I have enjoyed all of them and my fitness level has been good but, I have often had a sciatic nerve problem and my hip was out of alignment which had been put down to carrying a heavy school case.
I became aware of a deep muscle massage program which I undertook for 12 months with no exercise except walking, the end result being a straight back and no nerve problem. It was time to look for an exercise program that would tone my body and help keep it straight. Through a friend I heard about Coastal Pilates & Fitness, I mentioned the program to my massage practitioner and was told that Pilates would be very beneficial to me now she had my body back on track.
For quite some time now I have participated in one class of Pilates and one class of Circuit Training a week and have noticed a huge improvement in my muscle tone, core strength and flexibility - the best it has ever been. The more I participate in Pilates and Circuit the better I feel and now, only require maintenance massage treatment.
